We bid farewell to
NALAPPAN RAMAN

as he sets sail on his final voyage
Throughout his life, Raman has braved many storms but not once has hardship or
sorrow hardened his heart or darkened his soul.
Everything he accomplished; anything he achieved – he did it on his own. Not a day
in his life did he rest. Just so he could give his family all the pleasant things his life
has to offer.
An inspiration, role model – amiable in his ways, he leaves behind an emptiness felt
deeply by everyone whose life he has touched.
Dearly missed by his wife, Yeo Boon Huay, his son, Dr Nalliah Raman (aka I’an), his
daughter-in-law, Diana Lim, and his grandchildren, Claire and Emma. The memory
of him will live on, forever and always.
In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral was held on 27 September 2022.
